“Slavneft-YANOS” was again recognized as the Best Enterprise in Yaroslavl
The Refinery became the winner of the competition in two nominations.
The ceremony of awarding the laureates of the competition “The best enterprise” organized by the mayor's office and the municipality of Yaroslavl, took place on September 8. In the annual competition which has been held since 2000, 28 enterprises and organizations of Yaroslavl took part.
PJSC "Slavneft-YANOS" was awarded the award "For high performance indicators of the organization and contribution to the socio-economic development of the city in 2019". In the last three years, the annual volume of oil refining at the enterprise has reached 15 million tons. This is a record figure for the past 25 years. The long-term modernization program of PJSC "Slavneft-YANOS" is aimed at deepening the processing of hydrocarbon feed, increasing the efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness of production.
The use of advanced processes in the field of oil refining and its own developments allows the company to remain among the leaders in the industry including in terms of the production of winter diesel fuel, jet fuel, base oils of the III group. The original product of Yaroslavl production is in high demand - a hydrocarbon base for drilling fluids used in oil production which has replaced a similar imported product in the Russian market.
The YANOS award in the category "For Contribution to Environmental Protection in 2019" was a recognition of the company's contribution to environmental protection. Within the framework of the trilateral Agreement on interaction in the field of environmental protection between PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS”, Rosprirodnadzor and the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, concluded in 2017, the Company implemented a number of measures to improve the environmental friendliness of production and reduce the impact of production activities on nature.
Within the framework of these agreements, a new wet catalysis unit (MK-2) was built and started-up which provides an increase in the Refinery's capacity without harming the environment. The implemented measures in the field of environment protection also include the programs for landscaping and improvement of the sanitary protection zone, waste processing, improving the quality of wastewater treatment, reducing water consumption, etc.
The significant contribution of PJSC "Slavneft-YANOS" to the social and economic development of Yaroslavl was appreciated and supported by the citizens who took part in the Internet voting of the "10 best enterprises" competition. According to its results, YANOS received the greatest support and took the first line of the rating.
